School Athletics Carnival

On Tuesday the 23rd of July 2019, our school held the annual Athletics Carnival at Coburg Athletics Track. Although the morning weather threatened to cancel it, the day turned out to be fabulous! Students represented their houses with pride and determination, in both competing in the athletics events and keeping up the team spirit with great team support and enthusiasm.

Throughout the day, student involvement was high and there was a close competition between the houses, which meant securing the win came down to participation points. Congratulations to Yellow House, Aquila, for winning back their title of House Athletics Champions!

District Athletics

From the Athletics Carnival results, a team of 20 students were chosen to represent Sirius College at the District Athletics Carnival held at Craigieburn Athletics Track.

Our girls came away with a swag of ribbons. Some of the notable results are as follows:
